What's sushi got to do with it?The most recent Meta Makeover filmed on Sunday, 18th May is now live on the SLCN website – and available for download from iTunes as a podcast (just go to the iTunes store and search on Meta Makkeover – it’s free to downlaod, or to subscribe to the podcast).

But why the picture of sushi?

Well, the challenge facing our designer, Salome Strangelove (of Facade Furnishings and Linden Lifestyles) was to create a fantastic home using only slightly more prims than we found in one of Satu Moreau’s wonderful plates of sushi served in the Japanese restaurant on the Galaxy in our last meta makeover!

That’s right. You’ll find 106 prims on this plate of Satu’s sushi … and Salome had120 prims to make over a whole house!

Did she do it? Well, you’ll have to watch the show to find out!

A view of the Chelsea simThe programme was presented by Saffia Widdershins, the Editor of Prim Perfect Magazine – and in the studio she also talked to Spike Harturian, Estate Manager of the London sims, and to London Director Timber Oceanline, who told us about ways in which he’s cut down on lag in London.

And we also show you something of life in the London – and we have a very special cameo appearance in the show too. So don’t miss it!

Saffia wearing Jenna in ChelseaIn today’s show, Saffia is wearing Jenna by Ivalde in green, for her exploration of London, and the new lovely sixties dress, Ellisiv in blue by Ivalde in the studio.

“For this show, I wanted a really sixties feel to my clothes,” explains Saffia. “I love the Jenna coat; it’s short and sassy, but very stylish – just right for Swinging London!

“I also wanted to keep the sixties feel for what I wear in the studio. Neferia Abel has just produced a lovely new range of sixties outfits so really, I was spoilt for choice! In the end, I fell in love with the colours of Ellisiv and went for that. It was hard to decide on the blue – I also love the green, the purple and the outrageous orange – so expect to be seeing something of these in future shows!”
