5th November is a very special day for all UK residents – the famous 5th of November when we remember Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder plot – and so we decided to celebrate this on Meta Makeover by taking a look at Second Life Fireworks.
In the studio, the mellifluous Elrik Merlin of Radio Riel told us about what the tradition of fireworks and the Gunpowder Plot really means, WK Ganesvoort, self-confessed Second Life Fireworks fan, eplained how they can add to a Second Life party, and Freddie Bleac of the wonderful F & D Fireworks demonstrated his art – with Davon Westland, our producer, standing by with a fire extinguisher!

In the second half of the programme, we headed outside the studio where Freddie had set up the most spectacular display of fireworks – and Elrik Merlin added his wonderful commentary, assisted by gasps from Saffia and WK!
